What it does

QP Container Activity Log is a lightweight multiplayer activity log system for shared bases, safehouses, community storage, roleplay servers, and long-term co-op worlds. It records container activity directly in-game so groups can see who added or removed items from shared storage.

Key features

  • Track activity on valid world containers
  • Records added and removed items
  • Shows the player responsible
  • Shows item name, quantity, and time since the action
  • Stores the latest 50 activity entries per tracked container
  • Displays the latest 15 entries in the activity window
  • Merges repeated rapid transfers
  • Persistent object-based storage
  • Multiplayer synchronization
  • Client-side and server-side permission validation
  • Server-side safehouse, proximity, and container validation
  • Clean right-click submenu
  • Local-host and dedicated-server tested
  • No dependencies

Compatibility

Project Zomboid Build 41Project Zomboid Build 42SoloLocal-host multiplayerDedicated server

Build 41 and Build 42 are included in the same Workshop item and use the same Mod ID, so one server configuration covers both builds.

Dependencies

None. This mod has no required dependencies or frameworks.

Optional integrations

  • Companion to QP Loot Memory: both mods cover container information from different angles.

Known limitations

  • This mod records container activity only. It does not lock containers, block item transfers, restore missing items, punish players, or prevent theft. Its purpose is visibility and accountability for shared storage.
  • Only the player who started tracking a container or a server administrator can clear the log or stop tracking.

Recent changes

Version 0.3.0 adds full Build 41 support, increases stored history from 20 to 50 entries, adds server-authoritative safehouse permission validation, and leaves a visible audit entry when the log is cleared.

The full changelog lives in the Workshop description, which is the publication source of truth for this mod.
